Kyla is a Healthcare as a Service provider who aims to transform healthcare by making it a daily engagement rather than a yearly one. Kyla is powered by AI with a Bayesian Network capable of incorporating and predicting from thousands of diseases. It is set up to be proactive, predictive, and engages users on a daily basis.

My Role

I led the re-imagination of the chat environment with the integrated in-app features by providing high-fidelity interactive prototypes that enhanced user engagement.

By emphasizing proactive health insights, I successfully balanced the cutting-edge AI technology and the personal touch of tailored health advice.

The Goal

A better interaction between “Kyla Chat” and the rest of the app.

The client asked us to enhance Kyla experience by integrating all applications into a streamlined chat flow, providing users with compelling reasons to use daily, and increasing its interactive features to improve daily user engagement. The overarching goal is to transition healthcare from an occasional event to a consistent daily engagement for users.

The Objectives

How I Addressed the User Feedback?

To commence the design work, I prioritized the objectives first. I started producing ideas about the ideal chat layout and then enhanced the visual design to capture user attention right from the introduction.

The Result

I successfully met our core objectives of integrating health metrics and activities within an AI chat environment. While feedback highlighted the chat's engaging nature, the journey underscored the need for closer collaboration with developers and consistent post-launch user input. Reflecting on this experience, I recognized the importance of intuitive design alignment and realized how project constraints can become a catalyst for innovation.
